Fall is once again upon us and in our town of Rockton the decorations have started to go up. Our local library provides a safe free environment for little trick or treaters to come. I have enjoyed the programs offered for free to the community and I donate a portion of all sales of my book at the Talcott Library and the Halloween Bash to continue these programs.
I enjoyed writing the book and I have been working on a second book. I will take the time to tell everyone the process is long when it comes to picture books. I hired an illustrator and with count candy corn it was approximately one picture a month. I took pictures of the subjects and tried to have them in a setting that was similar to the illustrations. Since I had real people in my book it was more time consuming and detailed.
If you live in the local area I hope you can stop by on October 19th at the Greater Rockton Community Center and say Hi. I will be there from 2:00 p.m. till 6:00 P.M.
